PERSONAL ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS

CStarsky offers personal enrichment programs for adults and children such as:

Creative Writing Workshops
CStarsky offers two adult creative writing workshops. Storytelling: Painting Pictures with Words focuses on using imagery to capture your target audience. Writing Treasured Stories and Memories is designed to help participants identify periods in their personal history to document and share with friends, family, or future generations. In both workshops we encourage participants to not only write their stories but to also consider other ways to bring their stories to life. Participants leverage their creative talents to tell stories through art, photography, music, video, and/or audio recordings.
A 1-hour in-person Storytelling Writing Workshop for middle school children includes activities and worksheets participants use to create and share their own stories. An expanded version of this workshop, created as an in-person summer camp program, is also available for middle school children (offered in five 3-hour sessions).

Travel Stories: The Beauty of Alaska
Travel through Alaska includes breath taking scenary and outdoor adventures. Pictures and travel stories are provided in sessions up to 90 minutes. Locations include Anchorage, Fairbanks, Juneau, Glacier Bay, Ketchikan, Denali National Park, Nome, and Barrow.

This two hour session will focus on a sample of activities that will vary by season.
VIRTUAL TUTORING AND TRAINING
​
CStarsky offers support for virtual tutoring and instructor-led training. Virtual tutoring and instructor-led training enable learners to participate in training events facilitated by a live instructor from their own home or office. Virtual tutoring can connect experts and experienced tutors from remote locations to meet with participants one-on-one. Customized lessons can be created to meet the needs of children or adults.
Participants in virtual classrooms can interact real-time with the instructor and other class participants. The classroom can be very interactive including the use of a white board, shared screens, group discussions, live exercises, and small group discussions. We have experience with a variety of platforms. We deliver training to geographically dispersed audiences that may be spread across the city, state, country, or around the world. If you need to deliver training to a geographically dispersed audience, we can provide an instructional design specialist to convert classroom training and an instructor to support your needs.
